Sailing yesterday was very fun. We went out to about Angel Island and watched the "could turn bad" weather turn "bad" on us...when it started to rain we set the kite and headed back to Richmond. As we got into the channel the rain stopped so we went further down the channel to dry out the spinaker...then set the jib took the kite down and tried to dry the jib out on the way back...we had a nice ride despite the rain and maintained a steady 8.5 knots or so. I now understand why the admiral says..."I don't 'do' rain"...but it was fun to find out why...(does that mean that the rain is ok to sail in? maybe in august it would be nicer).
