the pin was out from where said pin holds the foot of the mast in place and as you disconnect the shrouds you wonder what will fall into the water as you disassemble little itsy bitsy pins and such and put them back together the whole time wondering if the foot of the mast will swing up and knock you off the boat. we and all the itsy bitsy parts stayed dry and undamaged.
